The Holy Name of Jesus Academy is a traditionally Catholic school welcoming young women from pre-K to the college level into a family community that fosters faith, study, and friendship.

The formation that we offer is firmly established on the principle that we must contemplate before we can pass on to others what we ourselves have received in contemplation, according to the great Dominican motto. Education is the cultivation of the whole person, and this process allows us to first order our own intellect toward truth and heart toward love of God and neighbor, and then foster the same in the minds and hearts of our students.

Our History
A young academy with deep roots
Founded in 2007 as part of the Congregation of the Holy Name of Jesus of Fanjeaux, France, our school draws on centuries of Catholic educational tradition while answering the needs of young women today.
Set in Massena, New York, our growing community offers a close-knit and familial environment where every student is known, accompanied, encouraged and challenged to aspire higher in faith and learning.
Our Vocation
Teaching the whole person, not a pure intellect
Our Sisters walk alongside each student not merely as instructors, but as guides of the whole person. We believe that education must reach beyond the mind to shape the heart, the conscience, and the character.
This is the heart of our vocation: to accompany young women as they grow in wisdom, virtue, and faith together, forming women who are as strong in charity as they are in intellect.
